Yes, this is a little know place nestled in Foster City but what a gem. It's family owned and run, just as friendly as can be. Some of our favorites are: beef stew, the preserved cabbage with shredded pork, and the stuffed fried tofu.

It's rolls, rolls, and more rolls at this popular Japanese eatery. Tokie’s does all the traditional dishes and does them well. Try one of the many varieties of sushi, or choose from meats, fish, and vegetables that can be prepared teriyaki, sashimi, or tempura style. Large bowls of savory noodle dishes are also available. All dishes are served with style in the small, modest room that's so popular it often has four sushi chefs at work simultaneously. Try the Foster City Roll, the Dynamite Roll, or the obligatory California Maki Roll. Not in the mood for a roll? Other options include Chicken Teriyaki, Gyoza Tempura, and Chicken Kara-age.
