In 1998 and 1999,Excel teamed with Cardenas/Fernandez & Associates in developing and executing one of Marlboro's most successful Latino events ever, entitled, Noches de Baile.

• FedEx’s Southern Heritage Classic Football games; coined the phase “Clash at the Classic”.
• San Francisco Blues Festival (assistant producer).
• EXCEL magazine (publisher).
• Miller Brewing Company - POQ (Professional of the Quarter) promotion which recognized minority vendors.
